"Good Food an Good Staff"
Reviewed July 26, 2015 I went there with my friends yesterday and had early lunch.. We arrived at around 10:30 am.. They have spacious parking area and a parking attendant to guide a newbie driver like me.. As we alight the car, we were immediately greeted by one of the staff and guided us to one of the huts (see attached photo).. No overlooking view of taal lake but it is nice to see different kinds of plants.. The hut has a net to keep flies out and electric fan so it is not hot even at noon.. It is our first time here so we asked for a recommendation.. their best seller is bulalo, seafoods and pork sisig.. Since we are just three girls, we can't order much.. We had bulalo (565) and bangus (bulalo is already meat so we chose fish) sisig (235).. They served the bulalo in a large bowl, maybe for 4-5 pax.. both the bulalo and sisig tastes good.. I had brewed coffee but it wasn't that good.. Our total bill is 970.. Not bad because of big servings of food.. You have to ring the bell if you need anything then a staff would immediately come.. They are very courteous and attentive.. Highly commendable.. |
"Lovely atmosphere and Healthy Food"
Reviewed July 18, 2015 We went there July 17 2015 because we were referred by my mom's office mate. We ordered the Sinigang na Bulalo, Sizzling Sisig, and Baked Scallops. The baked scallops were okay with lots of cheese and toasted garlic, but the size of the scallops themselves were disappointingly small. The sizzling sisig is very nice and just had enough chilli (though you may opt to remove the larger pieces since they are very very spicy). The dish we came for, the Sinigang na Bulalo, is AMAZING. The portion is large and good enough for 5 people (we were 4 but we still finished it all since it was so good) and it was very hearty and satisfying. Well worth the traffic we experienced. The place itself was very pleasant and clean. The common bathroom can use some improvement, in my humble opinion. You have the option of eating in the outdoor bahay kubos or inside the restaurant itself (given that the place is not full and you can choose between the two). For us, we ate in the restaurant itself. You don't even need to open the fan since it's already pretty breezy and cold. All in all it was a very good restaurant worth coming back to when we pass by Tagaytay again. |
"Good and Affordable Food with First Class Setting"
Reviewed July 30, 2015 Good Food, Good place and a very convenient location. Just an hour or two drive from Manila and you can enjoy an affordable but special food for any special occasions and celebrations. "Savor the Cool Ambiance"
Reviewed July 10, 2015 I was told about Balinsasayaw Restaurant in Silang, Cavite by my office mate and relayed excitedly the info to my hubby. It was after our hiking adventure at Taal Crater Lake when he enjoined me and our two kids to have our lunch here for unique dining experience. Parking lost was almost full when we arrived. We were welcomed by a beautiful landscape, with lots of plants, flowers and several nipa huts. The place was jam-packed because of the birthday party being held at the main function area. We were lucky for there was available nipa hut left. It was big and we shared half of it with another family. There was a division and so we still had our privacy. We ordered Binakol, baked tahong, calamares, Balinsasayaw rice and their special halo halo. While waiting for the food to be served, we savor the cool ambiance and the nature feel, no crowd and no noise. Waiting time was thirty minutes. Well, food was tasty especially the Binakol. Halo Halo was superb. A buzzer was used to call a waiter. Our kids who used to city life enjoyed our lunch. For those who will visit Tagaytay, visit this resto, your money will worth it. |
